Kyrgyzaltyn JSC has been granted rights to use Kyzyl-Ompol subsoil. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
The company received the right to conduct geological exploration and develop deposits in Issyk-Kul region.
Kyrgyzaltyn has the right to develop deposits of titanomagnetite, zirconium, phosphorus, thorium and uranium on Tash-Bulak site, conduct geological exploration of thorium and uranium in Issyk-Kul region and Kochkor district of Naryn region, with the exception of the development contour of Tash-Bulak site.
Recall, Kyzyl-Ompol deposit is located in Issyk-Kul region. The Kyzyl-Ompol group of uranium-thorianite placers has 10 sites. Five of them are open, and five more are underground.
