Fuel labeling will be introduced in Kyrgyzstan from August 1, 2024. The relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan dated July 4, 2024, No. 361 was posted on the information and legal portal Toktom. The document approves the regulation on the order of application of fuel marker in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The regulation determines the procedure for labeling and turnover of fuel on the territory of the Republic.
Motor gasoline, special gasoline, light and middle distillates, other gasoline and distillates classified in the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature as 271012110-271012900, 2710191100-2710191500, 2710192500, diesel fuel, classified in the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature as 2710193100-2710194800, 2710201100-2710201900, and middle distillates (in respect of winter diesel fuel), classified in the Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature as 2710192900 are subject to labeling.
The turnover of unmarked fuel residues is prohibited from September 1, 2024.
Taxpayers are obliged to label fuel residues within the period before the ban on the turnover of unlabeled fuel is introduced.
The resolution will come into force on August 1, 2024.
