A Kyrgyzstani accused of the brutal murder of law enforcement officers during the 2010 events has been detained. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
According to it, the citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 33, was detained on the territory of a foreign state. He is accused of the brutal murder of police officers in Osh during the events in 2010. He was hiding outside the Kyrgyz Republic for a long time.
The accused was detained with the help of the representative office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia, the Bureau for Coordination of Organized Crime in the CIS States and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as together with police officers of the Internal Affairs Department of Odintsovo city, Moscow Oblast of the Russian Federation.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan continues operational and investigative measures to establish the whereabouts and bring to criminal responsibility the organizers and active participants of the Osh events 2010.
