According to the National Statistical Committee, exports of butter from Kyrgyzstan decreased 3.5 times in the first quarter of 2024.
For the first three months of 2023, Kyrgyzstan exported 986.1 tons of butter for 410,146.3 million soms. This year, the export volume amounted to only 275.2 tons for 103,012.5 million soms, which is 710.9 tons less.
The decrease in exports is due to the termination of supplies to Russia, where 880 tons of butter were exported last year.
This year, Kyrgyzstan supplied this product only to Kazakhstan (256.2 tons) and insignificant volumes to Uzbekistan (19 tons).
