Kyrgyzstan is peacefully resolving issues of delimitation and demarcation of the border. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said at a meeting with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov at the state residence in Cholpon-Ata city.

«Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the UN is developing fruitfully. All issues related to borders are resolved at the diplomatic level. You agreed on the delimitation of borders with Uzbekistan. I think the problem with Tajikistan will also be solved. Kyrgyzstan can be called a symbol of peace,» he said.

A meeting of President Sadyr Japarov with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who arrived on a visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, took place at the state residence in Cholpon-Ata on July 2.
