Elections in three constituencies: CEC provides preliminary results

The Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) provided preliminary results of voting in the early elections of deputies of the Parliament in three constituencies.

According to it, the data were received after processing 98.8 percent of ballots.

Bakytbek Maripov is the leader in Nookat constituency No. 5. At least 11,523 people (44.99 percent) voted for him. He is a sibling of former PM Ulukbek Maripov.

Zhumabek Salymbekov won the majority of votes in Sverdlovsky constituency No. 29 — 10,611 (64.61 percent).

Aizhigit Tynaliev won the majority of votes in Issyk-Kul constituency No. 36 — 3,498 votes (16.04 percent).

The seats in Parliament became vacant after the CEC deprived Shailobek Atazov (Sverdlovsky constituency) of his mandate, and Zhusupbek Korgonbai uulu (Nookat) and Maksatbek Sarbagyshev (Issyk-Kul) submitted applications for voluntary resignation as deputies.

Popular
