President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the terrorist attack in Dagestan. The press service of the head of state reported.
«Please accept my sincere condolences in connection with the terrorist attack in Dagestan. I wish strength to the families and friends of the victims, and a speedy recovery to the injured. Kyrgyzstan resolutely opposes all forms of terrorism and supports the efforts of the Russian government to ensure its national security,» the message says.
Unknown people attacked a synagogue and a church, and also fired at a traffic police post in Dagestan on June 23. Several men opened fire from automatic weapons at a synagogue and an Orthodox church in Derbent. It is noted that the suspects fled from the shooting scene in a white Volkswagen car. More than 15 police officers and several civilians were killed, six militants were eliminated. Three days of mourning have been declared in Dagestan — June 24, 25 and 26.
