A Children’s Specialized Consultative Clinic was opened in Bishkek. The press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The clinic is located at Manas Avenue, 12.
The head of the ministry Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said at the opening ceremony that in order to provide the capital’s child population with timely, high-quality and qualified medical care, a decision was made to organize the clinic.
«The number of city residents is growing, and accordingly, the number of visits to children’s hospitals is also increasing. Every year, during the ARVI and flu season, there are long queues at the City Children’s Clinical Emergency Hospital and the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare. If about 700 children come in per day, then 80 percent of them are outpatients. The opening of the Children’s Specialized Consultative Clinic will reduce the burden on hospitals and improve their work,» he said.
Director of the Children’s Specialized Consultative Clinic Ainura Abdyldaeva said that the medical institution would work like other family medicine centers. Doctors will see patients daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, given the season of ARVI and influenza, doctors will be on duty until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
«We plan to begin working fully on January 2, 2024. In addition to pediatricians, we have a speech therapist and a pediatric orthopedist, a surgeon, and a neurologist. We are actively recruiting children’s specialists. We will also have a pediatric gynecologist, an ENT specialist, and an audiologist,» the head of the clinic said.
