According to Kyrgyzhydromet, a sharp weather change is expected in Kyrgyzstan from December 9 to December 12. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Snow is expected in many areas, heavy rain in some places. The roads will be slippery and snow drifts are possible. The speed of the western wind in some places may reach 17-22 meters per second.
According to forecasters, air temperature will gradually decrease on December 9-11. In mountainous areas, it will drop at night to −10 degrees Celsius.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations recalled that unstable weather will complicate the work of vehicles, communications enterprises, energy and public utilities, grazing and keeping livestock on pastures.
The ministry urges drivers to keep a distance between vehicles and, in case of an accident, call 112. The call is free around the clock.
