Korea will donate electric cars to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. The corresponding memorandum was signed by the First Deputy Head of the law enforcement ministry Adylbek Biybosunov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Lee Won-jae.
Electric vehicles for the needs of the police will be purchased for $170,000.
Adylbek Biybosunov noted that the ministry is actively developing and strengthening cooperation with international partners in the field of security. A Memorandum of Understanding and interaction was signed in October of this year between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Police Agency of the Republic of Korea. Assistance was provided by the Embassy of Korea in Kyrgyzstan.
