Winners of the First International Bishkek Film Festival were announced in Bishkek. This is reported on Instagram.
The closing ceremony of the festival and the awards ceremony took place at the Kyrgyz National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev on November 21.
The winner of the national competition is «Akyrky Koch» film, directed by Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Zhapar uulu.
Aibek Daiyrbekov was recognized as the best director for the film «Ermen Zhyty», and Artyk Suyundukov was recognized as the best actor for his role in the film «Kol», directed by Emil Atageldiev.
The prize for Best Artistic Performance was awarded to Akzhol Bekbolotov for his camerawork in «Shambala» movie, directed by Artyk Suyundukov. Ernest Abdyzhaparov’s film «Sagynbai Manaschi» was recognized in the nomination «Special Mention».
The best film in the international competition was «Sunday», directed by Shokir Kholikov from Uzbekistan.
Aktan Arym Kubat with «Esimde» film was named the best director, Liya Sanaa became the best actress with the film «Trail», directed by Mikhail Kulunakov (Republic of Sakha).
The jury prize was awarded to the film from Kazakhstan «Aikai», directed by Kenzhebek Shaikakov.
