Dancers from Kyrgyzstan win tournament in Turkey

A couple from Kyrgyzstan won WDSF Open Türkiye 2023 Tournament. The Dance Sports Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The annual international sports and ballroom dancing tournament Haydarpasha took place in Alanya, within the framework of which WDSF took place.

Athletes from Turkey, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Kazakhstan, Germany, Croatia, the Czech Republic and other countries took part in the competition.

In the Youth, Latin category, dancing couple from Kyrgyzstan — Dmitry Blinkov and Asal Mambetova — took the first place. They also won a gold medal in the Rising Stars Adult+Youth Latin category.

As part of the Haydarpasha tournament, another couple from the Kyrgyz Republic — Alexander Usenko and Daria Karpenko took the third place.

In the Solo category, Kanykei Baktybekova won four gold medals (including two cups), three silver and one bronze medal. Lyubov Dubrovina won two bronze medals.
