The President of Kyrgyzstan decided to strengthen measures to ensure security of the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) Kamchybek Tashiev. Otkurbek Rakhmanov posted on Facebook.
He explained that Sadyr Japarov understands well that the head of the SCNS is at the forefront of the fight against corruption, crime and extremism.
«Kamchybek Tashiev has really launched full-scale activities to protect national security from all threats, no matter where they come from. For this purpose, he takes measures that seem unpopular to some, and does not divide people by rank, position, or the thickness of wallet. Everyone is equal before the law, and everyone must answer for the slightest attempt to violate state interests,» he posted.
According to Otkurbek Rakhmanov, General Tashiev, unlike criminal elements, keeps his word.
«He said once, addressing members of organized crime groups, that they have the opportunity to «reformat» and serve their native country, then no one will prosecute them. And he has never broken that promise so far,» he added.
