In 2024, there will be no problems with school textbooks. The Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva announced at a joint meeting of Eldik parliamentary group together with Alliance, Yntymak, Butun Kyrgyzstan and Yiman Nuru parliamentary factions.
At the meeting, deputy Balbak Tulobaev said that textbooks on the same subject are published by different authors.
«When will you stop this mess? Why do you use different textbooks in different districts? Have you included this issue in next year’s budget?» the deputy asked.
The Education Minister noted that a commission has been created on this issue.
«We have received a decree according to which, by order of the ministry, school textbooks will be published in one publishing house. The state will do this. A special printing house will be created that will publish only textbooks,» Dogdurgul Kendirbaeva said and noted that there would be no problems with books next year.
Balbak Tulobaev also asked the Finance Minister Almaz Baketayev to allocate the necessary funds to resolve this issue.
