Suzak general social inpatient institution for the elderly and persons with disabilities will receive medical equipment from the Embassy of Japan. The press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration reported.
The parties signed grant contracts within the framework of the Japanese government programme Grass Roots and Human Security for a total amount of $43,183. Physiotherapy devices and dental equipment will be handed over to the institution.
«It is important to note that the activities of the Japanese Embassy contribute to the protection of socially vulnerable categories of citizens, including those living in social institutions for the elderly and people with disabilities. Thus, more than $100,000 was allocated to the Zhaiyl institution for the purchase of kitchen and industrial equipment. Two Tokmak residential facilities and the Sokuluk rehabilitation center received a total of more than $215,000 for the purchase of building materials, industrial and medical equipment, and vehicles. As part of the project, living conditions in the Nizhne-Serafimovsky social inpatient facility for the elderly and people with disabilities were improved,» the minister Gulnara Baatyrova said.
