The southwestern part of Bishkek will have no cold water on October 19. The press service of the City Hall reported.
The reason for the shutdown is repair work at Gagarin and Yugo-Zapadny water intakes, as well as on the city water supply networks.
Water supply will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. in the area bounded by Tolstoy, Bakaev, Altymyshev, Dzhunusaliev, Gagarin, Muromskaya, Tsialkovsky, Timur Frunze, Omur, Alykulov, Akhunbaev, Kok-Zhaiyk, Gagarin, Torugart streets. Rabochiy Gorodok, Institute of Agriculture districts, Ak-Orgo, Ak-Ordo residential areas (northern part from Akhunbaev Street), Tenir-Too (below Akhunbaev Street) will also have no water.
Bishkekvodokanal apologizes and asks organizations and the population to stock up on drinking water in advance.
