Greater Eurasia Multilateral Cooperation Center to be opened in Bishkek

Far Eastern Federal University and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University will open a Center for Multilateral Cooperation of Greater Eurasia in Bishkek. Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia reports.

According to the ministry, it will study the interaction of Central Asian countries with Russia and China. The goal is to develop proposals on the prospect of creating a Greater Eurasian partnership.

The plan is to work out the possibility of connecting the Eurasian Economic Union and the Belt and Road Initiative to combine the capabilities of these projects in the future.

The teaching staff of KRSU will undergo internships and advanced training at the Far Eastern Federal University, a recognized center of Chinese studies in Russia.

The center is scheduled to be opened in early 2024.
