To date, 714 Kyrgyzstanis are illegally staying in Korea. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to the Republic of Korea Aida Ismailova announced at a meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament.
According to her, there are 10,076 compatriots in Korea now. At least 886 of them are students. There are 4,805 Kyrgyzstanis registered with the Consulate.
She also noted that the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Korea signed an agreement with two travel companies that will process visa documents.
The parliamentary committee heard the information on the activities of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Korea for 2022 and the first half of 2023.
