New Mukha attack UAV used for the first time at CSTO exercises in Balykchy

During Indestructible Brotherhood exercises at the Edelweiss training ground (Issyk-Kul region), peacekeepers used Mukha attack unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for the first time. The press service of the CSTO Secretariat reported.

The Mukha attack UAV was developed by Russian specialists and is capable of carrying a payload weighing about 5 kilograms and staying in the air for 30 minutes. The UAV is equipped with a camera with a 30x zoom, which allows it to be used for reconnaissance purposes. Mukha is resistant to electronic warfare.

The active phase of the exercises with the CSTO peacekeeping forces Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 takes place at the Edelweiss training ground in Kyrgyzstan from October 9 to October 13. It involves contingents from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, operational groups of the joint headquarters and the CSTO Secretariat.

In total, about 1,500 military personnel, more than 200 units of armored and automotive equipment, Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-24 helicopters, Su-25, Su-30 and Il-76 aircraft, unmanned aircraft and combat boats arrived for the exercises.
