The former deputy head of the Customs Service, Zamirbek Karashev, was placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security. The Pervomaisky District Court reported.
The former official will be in custody until December 10. He is accused of complicity in the unlawful deprivation of liberty of a person.
Zamirbek Karashev held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service in 2021.
