The number of victims of food poisoning has grown to 43 people. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to its data, a total of 43 people applied to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, 23 were hospitalized, two of them are children. Their condition is relatively satisfactory.
Twenty people were sent for outpatient treatment.
Recall, mass food poisoning was registered in fast food outlets «Besh Lavash» and «Midos», located at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Suyumbaev Street in Bishkek. The cause of the poisoning was shawarma.
The fast food outlets were fined 72,000 soms for the detected violations and closed until their elimination.
The Ministry of Health informed 24.kg news agency that unscheduled inspections will be conducted at all fast food outlets.
