President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the formation of a state agency for registration of vehicles and drivers under the Cabinet of Ministers. The press service of the head of state reported.
The decree is designed to introduce a unified procedure for registration, re-registration and deregistration of vehicles, machinery and equipment, as well as the procedure for taking qualification examinations and issuing driver’s licenses and tractor driver’s licenses.
According to the document, its task is to improve the quality and accessibility of public services for citizens, as well as the introduction of new modern technologies.
The new state agency was created on the basis of Unaa state institution.
