The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Temir Sariev, met with the Chinese delegation headed by the Deputy Chairperson of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for International Cooperation in the Private Sector of the Economy, Lu Yan. The parties considered a number of projects, including the construction of the Eurasian Trade City in Kyrgyzstan. It is expected that it will include several specialized retail areas, as well as an exhibition and conference center, a logistics park and an air cargo center. The planned construction area will be 3 million square meters, and the total investment volume is estimated at $277 million.
«In addition, the parties agreed on plans to build the Eurasian Logistics Industrial Park in Osh. The park will cover an area of 2 square kilometers and $41 million of investment will be allocated for its implementation. This construction is particularly relevant given the launch of China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railroad, which will create great opportunities for the development of the logistics economy in the region,» the Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted.
