A ceremony of transfer of medical equipment within the grant program of the Japanese government «Grass Roots and Human Safety» took place at the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy in Bishkek. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
The medical institution received an expert-class portable digital ultrasound system with transesophageal echocardiography transducer. Such equipment costs 6.6 million soms.
«With the help of the provided portable echocardiography device it will be possible to further improve the quality of medical care for patients with acute coronary syndrome. The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic will make maximum efforts to strengthen the emergency cardiology service in the republic, improve the availability and quality of medical care for patients,» the Minister of Health Gulnara Baatyrova said.
