Director of Talas Medical College detained

Director of the Talas Medical College was caught red-handed while taking a bribe in the amount of 20,000 soms. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

It was established as part of the criminal case that the suspect and other officials of the specified college on a systematic basis illegally received monetary rewards for assisting in enrolling applicants for budget-funded and contract types of education.

«Being members of the Admissions Committee, they provided applicants with test questions with pre-prepared correct answers for a monetary reward,» the SCNS reports.

Investigative and operational measures are being carried out aimed at establishing other persons involved in the aforementioned fact.
