The Kochkor-Ata General Medical Practice Center in Jalal-Abad region purchased FibroScan device for the early diagnosis of liver cirrhosis and assignment of adequate treatment. Press service of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund (CMIF) reported.
The fund allocated 9,175 million soms to the health care organization for the purchase.
«The General Medical Practice Center provides medical services to more than 146,000 residents of Nooken district, as well as 361,000 residents living in remote areas — Aksy, Ala-Buka, in Tash-Komur, Mailuu-Suu, Kara-Kul cities and Shamaldy- Sai village. This typre of examination is available only in private clinics, where the cost is not always affordable for citizens and can be a burden for their family budget,» CMIF noted.
The fund added that the examination on FibroScan device is not included in the list of preferential medical services under the State Guarantee Program. Payment will be made according to the approved price list of the General Medical Practice Center.
