Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with the Foreign Minister of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir.
The parties discussed issues of enhancing cooperation in trade, economic, tourism, social, humanitarian, and environmental spheres and noted the importance of expanding mutual contacts in the further development of relations between the two countries.
Akylbek Japarov noted the activities of the intergovernmental commission, which is one of the effective tools for promoting Kyrgyzstan — Malaysia bilateral cooperation, and expressed the hope that, through joint efforts, the parties would achieve great mutual success for the benefit of the two states.
The head of the Cabinet confirmed his readiness to deepen cooperation in all areas, noting the exchange of experience in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, as well as in the field of Islamic principles of financing.
The Foreign Minister of Malaysia announced readiness of the Malaysian side for partnership.
