Kulira Kubatova withdrew her candidacy for the post of Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan. She announced this on Wednesday at a meeting of Parliament.
Kulira Kubatova noted that she refuses to run in favor of another candidate, Dzhamilay Dzhamanbaeva. «We intend to unite with her and work as a team,» she added.
Kulira Kubatova was nominated by Yiman Nuru faction. She works at the secretariat of the Council under the Speaker of the Parliament.
Two candidates remained for the post of Ombudsman — Dzhamilya Dzhamanbaeva and Bakyt Rysbekov.
