The former head of Severnaya customs Nurbek Aibashev is a defendant in the case on fraud on an especially large scale. The affected party Zarema Sharipova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, in 2017, Nurbek Aibashev, taking advantage of many years of friendship with her husband, pledged her property to third parties. The former customs officer did not pay the debts, and now her property may be transferred to strangers.
«When Nurbek Aibashev worked in the civil service, he went into business. He said that he urgently needed money to solve problems with the goods. Aibashev asked to pledge my apartment. The people to whom he owed money said that the deal should be formalized as a purchase and sale of the real estate. At the same time, the receipt indicated that the apartment was pledged for two months. Then the former customs officer said that he urgently needed $400,000 and asked me to pledge my restaurant. I agreed. A purchase and sale transaction was again carried out in the State Register. The restaurant was estimated at only 1.5 million soms. In 2018, Aibashev was imprisoned. Every month I had to ask him for money — interest, which the ex-head of Severnaya customs had to pay. The people to whom Aibashev did not return the money filed a lawsuit to evict us. I wrote a statement to the police. The restaurant has been sold to others. Aibashev’s creditor demanded $350,000 from me to buy back my own property. As a result, he sold it to other people,» Zarema Sharipova told.
She suffered from the actions of Nurbek Aibashev and wants to achieve seizure of the property. However, the courts, she said, do not want to do this.
«The Sverdlovsky District Court refused to seize the property. There is hope for the Bishkek City Court. Nurbek Aibashev himself was put on the wanted list. He changed his name and ran away. Accomplice of the former customs officer is a former employee of the State Committee for National Security Cholpon Asanov. He is also on the run,» she added.
The ex-head of Severnaya customs Nurbek Aibashev was detained in 2018. He was charged under the article «Abuse of official position» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Two years later he was placed under house arrest. According to the court decision, the former customs officer was fined. He fled the country before the sentence came into force.
