More than ten public and private schools in Bishkek received reports of planted explosive devices in them. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the capital informed 24.kg news agency.
«Students and the administration of Refal educational complex, Oxford International School, secondary schools No. 4, 63, 90, 33, 51, 17, 67 and 62 were evacuated. Territories of the educational institutions were cordoned off, specialists are working,» the department said.
The police noted that reports of allegedly planted explosive devices continue to be received. Information about evacuated schools and institutions is being updated.
This is not the first hoax callers’ attack. Similar messages were received by educational institutions and shopping centers of the capital on March 22, January 20, April 18 and April 20. The organizers have not yet been found. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Aibek Shamenov said that the accounts from which messages were sent are registered on the territory of Ukraine and Russia. The Ministry of Education instructed to strengthen security measures in schools, colleges and higher education institutions.
