The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan announced a new competition for vacant positions of heads of general education and special schools. Website of the ministry reports.
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan with higher pedagogical education and at least seven years of teaching experience, special pedagogical education and at least five years of work experience in their specialty (for specialized educational organizations for children with disabilities), able-bodied, not having a criminal record, not having restrictions on the right to engage in pedagogical activities for a period determined by a court decision that has entered into force, can participate in the competition.
In total, the competition will be held in 179 schools.
A candidate can apply for one vacant managerial position only. He or she will have to send copies of documents via personal e-mail to the e-mail address of the corresponding region. A list of documents, addresses of competition commissions, requirements and a list of vacancies can be found on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science. Documents are accepted until 6 p.m. on April 24.
In 2022, the president signed a decree according to which, by the beginning of the new academic year, directors were to be replaced in 966 schools, since they have been in office for more than five years.
