50,000 citizens to be provided with housing by 2026, Sadyr Japarov promises

As part of Menin Uyum 2021-2026 (My Home) program in Kyrgyzstan, more than 50,000 people will be provided with affordable housing by 2026. The President wrote on his Facebook page.

Sadyr Japarov published a post, in which he told about the work on the construction of schools and public housing. According to him, the number of prisons is increasing in a country where educational institutions are not built.

«At least 42 schools were built and 11 more were repaired last year. In 2023, it is planned to build 204 educational institutions, about a hundred of which will be completed by the end of the year,» the head of state added.

He also told that a microdistrict would be built on the site of the former prison colony No. 47 (this institution was demolished and moved to Moldovanovka village). «God willing, the object will be completed in 1.5 years. More than 5,500 people will have the opportunity to purchase housing through the State Mortgage Company for 20 years,» Sadyr Japarov wrote.

He noted that the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings is currently underway in Naryn, Talas and Jalal-Abad regions. Similar projects are being developed for other regions, districts and cities. This housing will be issued to citizens who are in line through the State Mortgage Company.

«It doesn’t matter if it’s a civil servant, a migrant or an entrepreneur. In general, by 2026, as part of the Menin Uyum 2021-2026 program, we intend to provide more than 50,000 our citizens with housing. In the coming years, we plan to move remand center 1 in Bishkek outside the city. We will also build a microdistrict in its place. We show all our plans in deeds, not in words,» the president promised.
