The national ice hockey team of Kyrgyzstan defeated the team of Singapore at the World Championship among the teams of the third division (Group B), which takes place from February 27 to March 5 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The game can be watched on Hokejaški savez BiH YouTube channel.
In the opening match of the tournament, the Kyrgyz team led by a Russian coach Mikhail Chekanov defeated the opponent with a score 14-2.
Six teams will participate in the Group B tournament — Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hong Kong, Iran, Malaysia, Singapore and Kyrgyzstan.
The winner of the group will get the right to move to Group A of the third division. The team that took the last place will get into the fourth division.
