The body of a Kyrgyz woman, who was injured in Novosibirsk during a gas explosion in a residential building and died later, was transported to her homeland. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.
Aizhanyl Kalmurzaeva and her husband were injured on February 9 as a result of a gas explosion in a residential building. She suffered a spinal fracture and was hospitalized at the Tsivyan Novosibirsk Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, where she underwent surgery. After completing the treatment, she was transferred to a rehabilitation center. On February 24, an ambulance delivered the patient in serious condition to the intensive care unit of the Berdsk city hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. Despite the intensive, including thrombolytic, therapy, the patient died.
The Consulate General helped the family with the preparation of the relevant documents to receive the body, as well as, together with the Kyrgyz diaspora, in transporting and sending cargo 200 to their homeland.
According to the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk, the deceased was a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, her husband and children have Russian citizenship. They rented an apartment on the ground floor of the house where the explosion occurred.
