An avalanche descended on Osh — Sary-Tash — Irkeshtam road last night. By morning, the road was opened to traffic. Press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported.
«The avalanche with a volume of 4,000 cubic meters descended at the 166th kilometer of the highway. At 3.15 a.m., vehicles were allowed to pass in one lane. Clearing work continued in the morning,» the statement says.
A snowstorm is observed on Taldyk and Ton-Murun passes. Drivers are asked to be careful.
