Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the prospects for opening Osh — Almaty flight. Press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The head of the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions Meerimbek Apyshov met with the Consul of Kazakhstan in Osh Mukhtar Karibay.
The parties discussed issues of interregional cooperation and strengthening sister city relations between the cities and regions of southern Kyrgyzstan and the regions of Kazakhstan. The parties expressed their intention to assist in organizing mutual visits of delegations from Osh region of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkestan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan with creation of a roadmap to further deepen and expand cooperation between the regions.
In addition, representatives of the two states exchanged views on establishing direct contacts between the business community of the south of the Kyrgyz Republic with interested Kazakh entrepreneurs on the implementation of specific business projects, and also discussed the possibility of holding a business forum with the participation of business communities of the two parties in the south of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In addition, the parties discussed the prospects for opening direct flights between the cities of Osh and Almaty.
