Another tunnel leading from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan found in Kara-Suu

Another tunnel leading from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan was found in Kara-Suu district of Osh region. The Department of Information and Communications of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The secret tunnel was found in one of the back rooms of a house located near the state border.

It was established that the tunnel passes under the South Fergana Canal and its exit was found in one of the villages on the territory of Uzbekistan. The height of the tunnel is up to 1.5 meters, the width is up to 80 centimeters. The tunnel is equipped with a ladder.

According to preliminary information, the length of the tunnel is up to 200 meters. Appropriate measures are taken on the fact.

An underground tunnel connecting Kyrgyzstan with Uzbekistan was also found on May 20 in Telman village, Kara-Suu district of Osh region. Another secret tunnel was discovered on June 4 under the concrete pavement of an outbuilding of a residential building. On June 13, the State Committee for National Security also announced discovery of a tunnel.
