President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking in Ala-Archa state residence, assessed the relations between the countries as «dynamically developing».
«We especially note the dynamism of our relations. Our contacts have acquired a systemic, intensive character. New points of growth have been determined. Mutual trade grew sevenfold, reaching $1.3 billion. We have never had such figures. 300 joint ventures have been created. Major projects have been launched — the construction of Kambarata HPP-1 and China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan railway,» he said.
According to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, they open up completely new horizons for interaction.
He also stressed that business contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchanges have intensified, especially in the border areas.
«I am convinced that today’s meeting, the adopted documents, as you (Sadyr Japarov. — Note of 24.kg news agency) just noted, the Declaration on Strategic Partnership is the basis for everything. It undoubtedly brings our relations to a higher level,» the head of the neighboring country added.
