Batken customs officials prevented smuggling of contraband confectionery products with a total weight of 2 tons. The Customs Service reported.
«A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was stopped for inspection in Buzhum village, Batken district. An assortment of confectionery products was found in its cargo compartment. The total weight of the goods is 2 tons. The driver had no shipping documents for the cargo,» the statement says.
