Russian Ozon marketplace starts work in Kyrgyzstan

The Russian marketplace Ozon opened its office in Bishkek and launched a sorting center. Press service of the company reported.

The marketplace is building its own logistics infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan. This is necessary to make it easier for local sellers to enter the Russian market and ensure prompt delivery of goods from Kyrgyzstan. To attract sellers from the region, Ozon also opened an office in Bishkek. This will help to expand the range of textile products and household goods at the site.

«As part of the development of international business, Ozon launched a sorting center in Bishkek. It provides for the reception and processing of orders, their assembly and packaging, and work with returns. The opening of the logistics complex in Kyrgyzstan will make it easier for local entrepreneurs to enter the Russian market and allow them to sell more efficiently to 32 million Ozon buyers in Russia,» the company said.

All delivery schemes to Russia are available for entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan: sale from the Ozon warehouse in the Russian Federation, sale from the local warehouse of the seller and delivery by Ozon, as well as delivery by third-party logistics services.

This is already the third CIS country where the company localizes business. Ozon has been developing business in Belarus and Kazakhstan since 2021.
