All detained participants of the march for the rule of law were released. A lawyer Chynara Dzhakupbekova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, relatives of Klara Sooronkulova, accused of organizing mass riots to seize power, activists, as well as relatives of Ali Shabdan and other arrested people were among the detainees.
«The police officers took explanatory notes from the detainees and released them. No protocols on administrative violations have been drawn up so far,» said Chynara Dzhakupbekova.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that police officers detained 27 participants of the march. «After clarification of the circumstances, protocols on offenses were drawn up in accordance with articles 139 (violation of the procedure for holding peaceful assemblies) and 128 (disobedience to the lawful demand of an employee of the internal affairs bodies) of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, which will subsequently be sent to court,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
The march in support of activists and politicians held in custody in the case on organizing mass riots ended with detention of its participants.
The Committee for protection of Kempir-Abad reservoir was created on October 22. It includes activists, politicians and MPs. On the same day, in an interview with Kabar news agency, President Sadyr Japarov said: the authorities have information who was behind the rallies and marches on Kempir-Abad issue.
Mass arrests began on October 23. Authorities placed 26 people in jail on charges of preparing for riots.
A number of international human rights organizations such as the International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), the World Organization Against Torture (OMCT), the Norwegian Helsinki Committee (NHC), the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (HFHR), Freedom Now and others issued a statement calling for the immediate release of politicians and activists arrested in Kyrgyzstan.
