Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev held talks. Press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan reports.
According to it, the parties discussed «topical issues of Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations based on the principles of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership».
They also considered implementation of the decisions taken following the meetings and negotiations between the leaders of the two countries. Particular attention was paid to the promotion of joint projects in the field of industrial cooperation.
The parties also exchanged views on the organizational and substantive aspects of the planned events at the highest and high levels.
Bakhtiyor Saidov was appointed the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 30, 2022. Previously, he headed the Ministry of Public Education.
