President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov urged to take decisive actions against those officials who do not implement state investment projects. He announced this at the final meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The head of state noted that despite the good results in various areas of the public investment program, implementation of some projects lags behind.
He stressed that there were government agencies that show zero results in the use of investment funds and implementation of projects, and listed them. These are the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economy, the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Health, the Water Resources Service, the Tax Service, the National Statistical Committee, the City Halls of Kant, Kara-Suu, and Karakol.
Sadyr Japarov noted that public investment was directly related to the public debt of Kyrgyzstan.
«Today, there is an opinion among the population that credit and grant funds are used to no avail. Akylbek Usenbekovich (head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov. — Note of 24.kg news agency), I believe that decisive measures should be taken against managers who cannot use the allocated money and show results,» he said.
