Receipts of import customs duties to the budget of Kyrgyzstan from the common treasury of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) decreased by 5.4 billion soms. The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev told at a press conference.
According to him, in January — November, revenues from import duties amounted to 14,384 billion soms. This is 27 percent less than in 2021.
«The decrease is due to the geopolitical situation and the zeroing of import duty rates on more than 1,300 commodity items. Out of the total number of goods with zero import duties, Kyrgyzstan proposed zeroing duties on 520 goods. Some food products, raw materials, goods for the textile industry and pharmaceutical products are among them,» Adylbek Kasymaliev said.
