Two KAMAZ trucks with smuggled mineral fertilizers detained in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan in the summer were confiscated in profit of the state. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.
«On June 24, two KAMAZ trucks with state numbers A5511L and 03KG105AAL were detained in Tal area when trying to cross the state border outside the checkpoint. Twenty tons of saltpeter were found during inspection of the vehicles. Owners of the contraband cargo, citizens of Kyrgyzstan — A.N.Zh. and S.A.M — were in the trucks together with the drivers,» the statement says.
On December 21, the Leilek District Court fined the smugglers 160,000 soms each. Trucks and fertilizers were confiscated in profit of state.
