Two residents of Zhaiyl district detained on suspicion of drug trafficking

Suspects of drug trafficking were detained in Zhaiyl district of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.

On December 17, officers of the State Service on Drug Control detained 25-year-old M.B. in Novo-Nikolaevka village. During a personal search, they found a matchbox with 3.9 grams of hashish. The detainee said that he had taken drugs in Voenno-Antonovka village from a 41-year-old man.

During a search of the house of the second suspect, 348 grams of drugs, electronic scales and handicraft devices intended for consumption of drugs were found. The court of the Zhaiyl district chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention for both detainees. The investigation continues.
