Houses for low-income families were built in Ak-Sai border village, Batken region. Press service of the Presidential Envoy to the region reported.
As noted, construction began a year ago — 12 four-room houses were erected. They are supplied with drinking water. The houses were handed over to families who were left without a breadwinner and women with many children.
It is planned to build a medical and obstetric centre, a kindergarten, a sewing workshop and a mosque in the area.
The houses were built by a branch of Emirate in the Kyrgyz Republic international charitable organization.
