The Geneva Higher School of Music and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Switzerland organized a concert by the creative team of the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts named after Bubusara Beishenalieva — manaschi Samat Kochorbaev, singer Elzar Oskonbaeva, flutist Kutmanaaly Sultanbekov and komuzchi Bek Alagushov. The performance program included reading excerpts from the Manas epic, a performance with virtuoso playing on Kyrgyz traditional musical instruments.
According to the Embassy, the bright performance of Kyrgyz musicians did not leave any of the spectators indifferent, who got acquainted with the culture of Kyrgyzstan with interest.
After discussing the issues of interaction between the two musical educational institutions, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the development of joint projects, student exchange, research and other activities.
