The only candidate for the post is the acting head of the National Academy of Sciences Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov.
The vice president and academic secretary will also be elected.
Director of the Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences, Academician Cholponkul Arabaev, may take the post of Vice President. Researcher in the field of genetics Bermet Khudaibergenova may take the post of Academic Secretary.
