Sanrabiya Satybaldieva, a journalist of the regional website MIR24, was released on her own recognizance not to leave the city. Her lawyer Zamir Zhooshev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, investigator of the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs himself came to the hospital and issued the decision.
«She is charged with extortion committed by an organized group. However, it is not clear how a journalist and a camera operator can be this «organized group,» said Zamir Zhooshev.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on November 3, 2022, a number of persons were caught red-handed when handing over $2,000, who systematically extorted money from deputies of the Parliament. It is noted that parliament members were blackmailed by the publication of audio recordings of 2016-2017 on social media.
Journalist of the regional website MIR24 Sanrabiya Satybaldiyeva stated that she was set up by the deputy of the Parliament Shaiyrbek Tashiev.
